Gift from Japan

Or well, from my friend in Japan. Japan itself isn't gonna wrap up something and send it to me.

I have this lovely friend named Yoko whom I met when being in an exchange program with my school and Ritsumeikan Keisho Junior & Senior High School in Sapporo, Japan, in October 2010. She and I usually send each other things on special occasions, and other times as well. This time, I got my late birthday- and christmas presents.

[caption id="attachment_79" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="Hatsune Miku T-shirt. Hipster pic is (somewhat) hipster. I have a tendency to look wide in T-shirts..."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_77" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="Goods from the Pokémon Center! One of my favourite places in the world, seriously."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_78" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="Pikachu cards from all over the world! "][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_76" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="Madoka clear file + pins and Hanasaku Iroha postcards. Also, a little Nico Nico Douga phone strap that I THINK is a mini tape. It's cute anyway. :3"][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_74" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="Hoshi wo ou kodomo book with artwork, story info, cast, etc."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_75" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="And this is what I'll watch tonight. I'm not sure if I'll be able to read all this yet (no furigana D':), but by summer, hopefully I can."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_72" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="I also got the cutest letter ever >u< "Dear my sweet honey" awh."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_73" align="alignnone" width="529" caption="She drew Madoka for me, and from what I can see she hasn't used any guidelines/sketchup at ALL. She's amazing @__@"][/caption]

All these pictures were taken with my new lens, Canon EF 35mm. Being all shaky from excitement, I believe I didn't give it a fair chance though. But it's definitely sharper than my old lens, so yay!

Now, I'm off to otaku-ize my room. (´∀`)
